Residence permit

Once you have been accepted to the University of Agder, you will need to apply for a residence permit.

Master students from non-European countries

When you have received the Letter of Acceptance and received a statement confirming that you have deposited money, you should apply for visa as soon as possible. The residence permit is normally valid for one year.

The application must include:

- Application form for students

- Passport photo

- Letter of Acceptance

- Documentation of housing ( stated in the Letter of Acceptance)

- Documentation of subsistence (Confirmation of the deposited money)

- Copy of passport

- You must also pay a fee. Currently the fee is NOK 1100
