Student identification card
All students should have a student ID card.
Student cards will be available from Monday, 15 August.

The student ID card is in bank card format and works as
- An ID card at UiA
- Library card
- Key card / access card for buildings and computer labs
- For printing, copying and scanning
- Student discounts, including train travel with NSB
To get your student card you must:
- Show identification (passport, bank card or driver's licence) and
- Show your semester card
Degree-seeking students will receive a semester card once they have registered and paid the semester fee. Exchange students will receive a semester card at orientation. The semester card should be carried with the student card.
