Norwegian ID-number
All students staying in Norway for more than 6 months must register with the local National Population Register (Folkeregister) in order to receive a norwegian ID-number (personal identification number).
All students staying in Norway for more than 6 months must register with the local National Population Register (Folkeregister). This includes an application for a Norwegian ID - number, and must be taken care of as soon as the residence permit has been stamped in your passport by the local Immigration office (police).
When you have received your Norwegian ID-number you may open a Norwegian bank account and you will automatically be given a general practitioner.
In Kristiansand they are loceted in Tordenskjoldsgate 65. In Grimstad they are located in Televeien 1.
