University Chaplain
My name is Hans Jørgen Wennesland and I am employed by the Church of Norway as chaplain at the University of Agder. This means that I will be available for anyone who wishes, regardless of faith.
_________________________________________________
I am here for you, the student. You decide what you need a chaplain for. I am of course here for you if you would like to talk about God. I am also here for you if you would like to talk about something else. Life is complex, and so is student life. There are good days and bad days. It can be good to share difficult choices, thoughts or painful feelings with someone else.
Perhaps you just need another person to think aloud with?
Perhaps you would like to talk about faith or doubt?
You can come to the chaplain with grief, doubt or joy. I have time for you - I will take you seriously – no matter what you want to talk about.

"The quiet room"
Kristiansand: F2-013
Grimstad: A1-130
Sometimes we just need a room that is different. A place of refuge from an otherwise hectic day. A place free of demands and expectations. A place for rest, prayer, meditation and reflection. You can find such a place at Gimlemoen/Kristiansand ("F"-building room F2-013), and
in Grimstad (A1-130)
This is not a consecrated room. We use it with respect for each other, regardless of faith or lifestyle. “The quiet
