Student identification card

All students should have a student ID card.
Student cards will be available from Monday, 15 August.

Kristiansand: from Aug. 15 - Aug. 31
Monday - Friday: 09.00 - 15.00
Room A1001 just inside the main entrance to the university

Grimstad: from Aug. 15 - Aug. 31
Monday - Friday: 09.00 - 15.00

The student ID card is in bank card format and works as

An ID card at UiA
Library card
Key card / access card for buildings and computer labs
For printing, copying and scanning
Student discounts, including train travel with NSB

To get your student card you must:

Show identification (passport, bank card or driver's licence) and
Show your semester card

Degree-seeking students will receive a semester card once they have registered and paid the semester fee. Exchange students will receive a semester card at orientation. The semester card should be carried with the student card.
