Regional partners

The University of Agder (UiA) has extensive cooperation with a number of companies and organizations from both the private and public sector, including research institutes. This applies both at the regional and national level.

Partners in the region include counties and municipalities, Sørlandet Hospital, companies, Teknova , Agder Research and cluster networks such as NCE NODE and Eyde-network .

The university has a broad partnership with other colleges and universities in Norway, also with the University of Stavanger and the University of Nordland. The three institutions have come together to form a university network, focusing on research on vocations. Along with Telemark University College, UiA has signed a cooperation agreement with the purpose of further developing academic and administrative cooperation between the two institutions.

The University of Agder is a member of several national research schools, which is a national initiative to strengthen research within academic specialization that will grow stronger through institutional cooperation.
