PhD handbook
This handbook provides information primarily for present and prospective PhD students at the University of Agder (UiA). Supervisors, other UiA staff and members of evaluation committees may also find it useful.
The handbook provides general information about pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Agder. The first part of the handbook presents the structure of the doctoral programmes and other general information.
The second part of the the handbook follows the course of the doctoral programmes from application to graduation, presenting the most essential phases. Links to more information and relevant documents – in English and Norwegian – are included at the end of each chapter.
