Research at UiA
The University of Agder is a young university that aims to be creative and innovative. In some areas,our best researchers are already producing leading research. UiA continually strives to be at the forefront of research in others. Particular emphasis is on certain fields such as "renewable energy" and "multimodal interaction and cultural change".
UiA is an active participant in the region while at the same time has a strong international presence. The university is especially responsible for developing PhD programmes and professional research training within areas such as teaching, nursing and engineering.
