Guide to the use of e-books, clickhere. Different suppliers of e-books also have different rules for downloading of pdf files, printing of chapters, etc. Online screen reading is always a safe option!

Lecture Notes of Computer Science (LNCS). We can now access this collection complete from 1973- ., Close to 6000 books, mainly conference proceedings. You can either search for the book in BIBSYS and follow the link from there, or search directly, via the LNCS link below here.

Safari.From 2011 we subscribe to Current file ICT, which gives us electronic access to about 2500 books in the ICT area. There are links to the books in the BIBSYS system

Springer. In addition to the books in LNCS, we can now access the full text of about 900 other IT books from this publisher. They can be sought up in BIBSYS,or you can have them listed by clicking here

Fulltext access to all periodicals, conferences, etc issued by Association for Computing Machinery.

ASME digital library

Fulltext access to 23 journals from American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Scopus

Very large database in life sciences, medicine, and over 9 millioner references in engineering and technology, starting in 1969. Many links to fulltext articles.

IEEE Xplore

Fulltext database with over 1 million references from journals, conferences and standards from IEE (Institution of Electrical Engineers (England) and IEEE (Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (USA)). Covers subject areas computers, electronics, telecommunication

1800 fulltext journal from the worlds largest scientific publisher, Elsevier.

SciFinder

Also known as Chemical Abstracts is a large database in the area of chemistry.

To access this database you will first have to register by clicking here. The next time you can use the link over and log in with the user name and password you created.

News archives

Search in the archives of the largest norwegian newspapers. You would have to learn norwegian to do this.

Factiva

International newspapers and magazines, e.g. Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. Market- and industrial analyses.
