Getting to Grimstad
Plane: The closest airport is Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik. Both SAS and Norwegian fly to Kristiansand. From Kjevik, you can take the airport express bus to Grimstad/Arendal
Train:Kristiansand is a main station on the Sørland Line, which goes from Oslo S (Central station) to Stavanger. The Arendal Line goes from Nelaug station on the Sørland Line to Arendal station. Grimstad does not have a train connection, but buses run to Grimstad from both Arendal Station and Kristiansand Station. For tickets and train timetables, please go to NSB's webpages.
Long distance bus: Buses run regularly in all directions to and from Grimstad. Major bus service providers include:

- Timeekspressen runs twice every hour between Kristiansand-Grimstad-Arendal (website in Norwegian only).
Ferry: Color Line runs a fast ferry service between Kristiansand and Hirtshals in the north of Denmark (website in Norwegian only).
