The University's main campus is located in Kristiansand, and was opened in 2001. Our new state-of the art Music Building opened 1st of January 2011. At present, there are approximately 6500 students in Kristiansand.
Grimstad`s brand new campus opened 1st of August 2010. There are about 2500 students in Grimstad.
Besides modern and functional buildings, the university has modern computer facilities and an extensive University Library

The student cafeteria offers a wide selection of delicious food, and has been voted the best student cafeteria in Norway five years in a row. There are also separate staff cafeterias at each campus.
At Spicheren fitness centre in Kristiansand, all employees are offered excellent training facilities at a reasonable price. At both campuses there are also local training facilities for all staff members free of charge. The University Sports Club arranges organised training for staff members in a wide range of sports, and has a number of kayaks that staff may borrow free of charge.

The University is home to the Wennesland Art Collection, the largest collection of Beat Art outside of the United States.
