The main aims of internationalisation at the University of Agder are:
- To provide all students who wish to go abroad the opportunity to do so for one semester or more as a part of their bachelor or master's programmes.
- To increase participation in international programmes and Erasmus, Nordplus and bilateral agreements with good institutions abroad.
- To increase instruction in English to develop an international atmosphere on campus and attact more exchange students.
- To present all students with an explanation of their degrees in English in the form of a diploma supplement upon graduation. by
Although great emphasis has been put on student exchange, more than 90% of our students stay in Norway for the duration of their studies. We strive to internationalise the campus so that all graduates of Agder leave with an international experience.
This is achieved through internationally oriented study programmes, international research projects and centres, participation of guest lecturers, and cooperation with 170 partners abroad to recruit international students to campus.
