About the Faculty
The Faculty of Fine Arts has about 80 staff members and 450 students. The Faculty is located at Campus Gimlemoen, in Kirsten Flagstad house (building G) and Sigurd Køhn house (building K)
The Faculty of Fine Arts is organised into two departments:
- Department of Music
- Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts
The Faculty offers study programmes in music performance, drama and music education and arts and crafts. A number of fine arts courses may also be included as core and elective modules in the University's teacher education programmes.
Facilities
At Campus Gimlemoen, students and staff have access to modern and well equipped workshop and production facilities for arts and crafts and theatre production. There are also several studios and MIDI rooms for music students. The new music building will include rehearsal rooms, studios and a concert hall.
