The University of Agder arranges several courses and seminars at Metochi Study Centre every year. Since 1993 the University has offered the study of Examen Philosophicum, a prerequisite philosophy/ethics course for all university level studies in Norway, at Metochi. This study was also carried through at the main monastery Limonos in 1992. Since 2003 both Examen Philosophicum and Examen Facultatum (faculty-specific ethics and research history) have been offered at Metochi Study Centre.
