International research stays
The University of Agder prepares a research report ("forskningsmelding") annually. UiA's research report is based partly on research data obtained directly from UiA's systems and partly from other data which the faculties are required to report.
When it comes to the extent of internationalisation of research at UiA, the faculty is required to report the following to UiA's research secretariat ("forskningssekretariat"):
- The number of visiting scientists, including guest students, at UiA.
- The number of employees with research stays abroad of over 2 months.
- The number of PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows with research stays abroad of over 2 months.
There is a form and additional information on the R drive which facilitates this reporting being done on a regular basis of all employees (available on campus for the faculty's staff):
- R:\TekReal\felles\InternasjonaleForskningsopphold
It is the faculty's research administration that gathers this information and reports it to UiA's research secretariat on request.
