The department is doing research in mathematics, ICT, the history of mathematics and mathematics education. The department offers a PhD programme in mathematics education. There are about 20 PhD candidates attending the programme.

Mathematics Education

The department offers a PhD in mathematics education. Our research focuses on the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels in the education system and also on the history of mathematics.
