Preliminary Courses
Proficiency in Norwegian is an admission requirement for these courses.
| The Preliminary Course is an undergraduate programme for applicants who may have a vocational education from upper secondary school, applicants who do not fill the requirements in mathematics and physics for ordinary admission to our study programmes in engineering, or adults with a longtime working experience. One-year preliminary courses are given in Kristiansand as well as Grimstad. |

| TRES is a first year course for students who already have obtained university admission certification, but lack the formal deeper understanding in mathematics and physics (R2 and Fysikk 1). |
|
| Science and technology is a one-semester (spring term) undergraduate study programme for applicants who do not fill the admission requirements in mathematics and physics to our study programmes in engineering. |
