Through reading, lectures and group work, the student will acquire knowledge about both fundamental and professional ethics. The student should be able to elucidate ethical challenges in social work and be able to reflect upon these challenges from different aspects of ethical thinking and theories.
The course content may be divided into two main sections:
Basic ethics:
Area ethics:
Lecture and group work with assignments and/or group presentations.
Approved written group assignment and /or an oral presentation.
5-hour individual written examination. Graded assessment
