Students will
- have acquired knowledge of
central ethical theories, perspectives and
distinctions
- be able to reflect on the relation
between religion, philosophy of life and ethics
- have
acquired basic skills enabling them to relate in a reflected
way to ethical challenge and to analyse ethical
problems
The course gives an overview of the history of ethics and of central positions in current ethical discussions. It gives insight into ethical reflection related to religions and philosophy of life.
Students are invited to reflect in relation to concrete "case". They will work with basic ethical questions as well as ethical issues pertaining to professions.
Lectures and seminars.
5-hour individual examination. Graded assessment.
