This study programme focuses on theatre for children and young people. The students will participate in a theatre project and carry out an individual professional research and development project. Students will get knowledge of all sides of a theatre production, including work with texts/concept development/research, script, actor training (voice and body expression), role development, improvisation, light and design, sound and costumes/masks. They will also acquire knowledge of marketing, target groups, economy and writing applications. Course contents: DR-202: Theatre Production (10 ECTS) DR-203: Research and development project (10ECTS) TFL107: Entrepreneurship (10 ECTS)

On completion of the programme students are expected to - develop knowledge about theatre for children - achieve knowledge about research methods in the field
Teaching is organised as lectures, group lessons, individual work and supervision. Students are expected to influence programme content and teaching methods.

The Programme may be included in the 3-year bachelor programme in Drama. This programme qualifies for work with theatre in Primary and Secondary School.
