General requirements for admission to universities and colleges in Norway. The target groupe is priamrily students in the 4-year Programme in General Teacher Education and the Bachelor Programme in Pre-School Education.
The one semester programme in Outdoor Activities consists for the following subjects: Man and the outdoors Children- movement- nature The kindergarten's and the school's outdoor environment as an arena for professional didactics and pedagogical development work For further information - see the course description FRI106.

The Examination Regulations of the University of Agder regulate the graduation requirements for each programme of study.
At the end of the programme the students have the necessary competence to work with children outdoors and by doing so stimulate to play, creativity, physical development and inquisitiveness.
Work methods will be working in groups, excursions, practical work, lectures, project work and problem based teaching. Mandatory participation (se course description FRI106).
Project, report and oral exam
This one semester programme is based on the National Curriculum for Outdoor Activities. Outdoor Activities is a continuing education and a specialisation in the topics outdoors and physical eduation in the Bachelor Programme in Pre-School Education The National Curriculum for Outdoor Activities is connected to the national curriculums for kindergarten, for the Bachelor Programme in Pre-School Education and for the primary school. Outdoor Activities is supposed to contribute to ensure all-round professional competence of personell i kindergartens and primary school. The programme can be included in the Bachelor Programme in Pre-School Education and in the 4-year Programme in General Teacher Education as a specialisation, also in the Bachelor Physical Education and Sport.
