High School diploma or High School equivalency exam or relevant work experience.

The students will through their work with music subjects increase their practical and theoretical skills. Compulsory attendance will be required for parts of the courses (see course description). Integrated theoretical and practical work. Alternative practice training is included in the programme.

Studieplanramme

On successful completion of this programme, the student should be able to: - develop their understanding of music as an art and as a school subject. - develop their practical skills. - perform music for various pupils

The programme is organized as lectures, seminars, group seminars and individual guidance. Compulsory attendance will be required for parts of the courses (see course descriptions). The semester programme also includes compulsory practice training. Research and development project is a compulsory part of the programme for students who are in their 4th year of a Teacher Education.

This programme qualifies for work with music in Secondary School and in High School.
