The students will achieve knowledge and skills to develop, support, lead and evaluate development processes in work life. Another aim is to develop the students´ abilities to work cross-disciplinary in order to promote a more inclusive and sustainable working life. The teaching is carried out in close connection to companies and public agencies in the region. The students will contribute to development projects in work life both theoretically and in practice. The themes of the projects will be real problems in the enterprises, specially related to learning, work environment development and job retention. Training in participating and solution oriented development work will be emphasized. The aim of the programme is to develop the students´ ability to independent reflection, critical evaluation and personal achievement. The programme addresses the challenges that managers meet and goes in depth on areas dealing with organisation and human resource management. Applicability and use value for participants and for employers are emphasized.

Studieplanramme

The aim of the programme is to develop the students ability to independent reflection, critical evaluation and personal achievement. The programme addresses the challanges that managers meet and goes in depth on areas dealing with organisation and human resource management. Applicability and use value for participants and for employers are emphasized.

Classes start in August and the tuition is given is sessions of three full days every other week. There will be altogether 24 days of sessions in each semester. All lectures are given in Norwegian. A full time student will go through the program during three semesters. It is possible to extend the time of study to e.g. six semesters. Tuition is given through a combination of lectures, case work, development work in external enterprises, supervision, reporting and self study. The students work in groups. Evaluation is carried out through individual written and oral exams and group based project reports.
