Higher Education Entrance Qualification
For students who are not enrolled in a Bachelor's programme, but who wish to take a total of 30 credits in the first semester, the Faculty offers this programme which includes EX-100-1 Examen Philosophicum, Examen Facultatum, and NO-120-2 Writing Skills and Information Literacy or LAT100-1 Introduction to Latin. The First Semester Study components may be studied independently. It is possible to study one or several components. Examen Philosophicum(Ex.Phil.) and Examen Facultatum (Ex.Fac.) are mandatory in several of the bachelor´s degree programmes offered at the University of Agder. Different degree programmes include the Ex.Phil. and Ex.Fac. examinations in different semesters of the study, and the courses may be included in an unspecified Bachelor´s degree. NO-120-2 Writing Skills and Information Literacy, and LAT100-1 Introduction to Latin may also be studied as an option in a number of bachelor´s programmes.
