Higher Education Entrance Qualification.
The one-year programme in Education consists of courses included in the three first terms in the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Education.
Arrangements for the recognition of prior learning are described in the information on the institution under "General arrangements for the recognition of prior learning (formal, informal and non-formal)".

The Examination Regulations of the University of Agder regulate the graduation requirements for each programme of study.
After having completed the programme, students should - have a basic understanding of basic educational concepts, learning and learning processes, groups, interaction and communication, children and adolescents´ use of media, use of ICT in educational contexts and the multicultural society´s influence on educational work.
Lectures, seminars, counselling, project work, semester assignments, portfolio assessments and student proposals. Students will experience working individually as well as in basic/seminar groups and discussion groups.
Written examination (individual and group), home assignments, semester assignments, project assignments, oral examinations and portfolio assessements
The One-Year Programme in Education may be an integral part of various Bachelor Programmes.
