Norwegian and English. Lectures are in Norwegian. Textbooks are in English, and international students are offered special tuition in English.

On successful completion of the course, the students should: - master 3D modeling and modeling principles in an acknowledged 3D graphics application. - master lighting and texturing of 3D models. - master camera and animation techniques necessary to make visualization of 3D models.

Visual expressions. Modeling principles and techniques. Lighting and color theory. Lighting and texturing. Camera theory. Animation and animation principles. Compositing. The last half of the semester consists of project work based on the first part.

Lectures and laboratory teaching/exercises first part of the semester. Last part of the semester there will be project work in groups with supervision and laboratory supervision. The project work consists of modelling, animation, written report and presentation.

Students must pass compulsory assignments in order to take the examination. the compulsory assignments are given in Fronter by the start of the semester.

Project work. The groups are given joint grades, but the course lecturer has the right to evaluate students individually. Graded assessment.
