1 February	Deadline for semester registration and registration for all examinations in spring semester (new and postponed) and confirmation of individual education plans for spring semester. Registration deadline for privatister.
15 February	Application deadline for student exchange for autumn semester and the full year (outbound UiA students)
27 February - 3 March	New and postponed examinations from autumn semester that are essential to study progression for spring 2011. Primary week for mid-term examinations and examinations after block instruction periods.
1 March	Deadline for applying for early admission, special admission, applicants with credentials from non-Nordic countries and admission based on prior learning and work experience.
15 March	Deadline for applying for special examination arrangements for spring semester
2-9 April	Easter holiday
15 April	Application deadline for admission to most study programmes (direct admission and Norwegian UCAS)
16 April - 11 May	Final evaluation of courses and study programmes
1 May	Application deadline for student exchange (inbound students to UiA for autumn entry)
3 May - 5 June	Main examination period and for regular examinations and postponed examinations from autumn semester 2010
5 June	Last examination day / end of semester

Application deadline for new and postponed exams in subjects with regular exams spring 2012 that are essential to study progression for autumn 2012.

6-10 August

New and postponed exams in spring subjects that are essential for study progression autumn 2012.

Semester starts.

22 August

Classes start.

31 August or 3 September

University Annual Celebration. No classes 12am – 4 pm.

1 September

Deadline for semester registration and registration for all exams in November and December (new and postponed) and confirmation of individual education plans for autumn semester. Registration deadline for privatister.

Deadline for election of student representatives.

15 September

Application deadline for student exchange for spring semester (outward-bound UiA students).

1-5 October

Primary week for mid-term examinations and examinations after block instruction period.

Deadline for applying for special examination arrangements for autumn semester.

Sørlandsk Teachers’ Convention. No classes in Kristiansand.

7 November

12 am – 4 pm. Information about electives for Bachelor Programmes and Teacher Training Programmes in the main hall and the auditoriums.

16 November

Application deadline for electives for Bachelor Programmes and Teacher Training Programmes academic year 2013-14. Studweb can be accessed from Monday 5 November.

21 Nov – 19 Dec

Main examination period and for regular and postponed examinations from spring semester 2011.

15 December

Deadline for applications for Bachelor Programme in Music Performance and Bachelor Programme in Music Education 2013-2014.

Deadline for applying for early admission, special admission, applicants with credentials from non-Nordic countries, applications from EU countries to MA programmes in English, International Baccalaureate, admission based on prior learning and work experience.

8 March

Open University for pupils from local upper secondary schools. No classes in Kristiansand.

15 March

Deadline for applying for special examination arrangements for spring semester.

24 March – 1 April

Easter Holiday.

15 April

Application deadline for admission to most study programmes (direct admission and through Norwegian UCAS).

6 May – 8 June

Main examination period and for regular examinations and postponed examinations from autumn semester 2012.

5 June

Final day of examinations/end of semester.
