EndNote and Reference Manager

EndNote and Reference Manger, are both widely used bibliographic reference software that can help you

  • to create your own personal database of references, known as an EndNote or Reference Manager 'library'

  • search online library catalogs and databases and retrive the references directly into your private library

  • automatically create and format citations and reference list for your research papers. The reference softwares are designed to work in tandem with word to "Cite While You Write" and automatically enters citations from your database into your papers in the desired citation style

The university library has site licenses for both systems, available for students and staff

  • download the Endnote program from fronter

  • download the program from UiA start menu, or (for staff only) R: > Felles.UiA > EndNote or Reference Manager
