Summer school "Enabling technologies for mobile services"
Within the PhD programme of mobile communications, UiA is going together with Ålborg University and NTNU for presenting a summer school in mobile technology.
The courses start with basic information and advance to the latest trends. At the end of each day, a session about visions for the future is held.
The following topics are included:
- Mobile Platforms: Cooperation and Cognition in Wireless Networks (Frank H. P. Fitzek, Aalborg University)
- Service Description Languages (Andreas Prinz, UiA)
- Service Component Modeling and Execution (Peter Herrmann, NTNU)
- Mobile-Service Middleware: Location Context Data Management for Mobile Services (Christian Jensen, Aalborg University)
- Service Discovery (Frank Reichert und Andreas Häber, UiA)
- Service Specification and Composition (Peter Herrmann, NTNU)
The summer school is created for the PhD students at UiA, AAU and NTNU, but it is planned to also admit foreign students up to a number of 20.
