Students can choose between three programme options within the Bachlor Programme Civil Engineering, The two year of study areidentical for all three study options. The choice of the specific study option takes place early in the 5th semester. These are:

Structural Engineering

The student will develop basic skills for understanding the nature of building materials, theories of design of constructions, methods of computing responses, principles for land use on the basis of theories for human behaviour and knowledge of civil acts and regulations. Computer aided design (CAD) is an important part of the programme.

Enviromental Engineering

The student will develop basic skills for understanding the theories of design of constructions, urban planning and planning of municipal technical constructions, methods of computing responses, principles for land use on the basis of theories for human behaviour and knowledge of civil acts and regulations. Computer aided design (CAD) is an important part of the programme.

Estate Development and Management

The course offers the students a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge within the field Real Estate Management and Development.Course topics are such as Project Management,Management and team work, Law, planning and construction law, Life cycle standards, Technical understanding of cunstruction and Real Estate Management

   
 

One of the admission requirements is documented proficiency in the Norwegian language.
