PhD programmes
The Faculty of Engineering and Science offers three PhD programmes in Grimstad and Kristiansand.
PhD programme/specialization in ICT
The University of Agder offers a PhD programme in information and communication technology (ICT) in Grimstad.
PhD Programme in Mathematics Education
The University of Agder offers a PhD programme in mathematics education in Kristiansand.
PhD programme/specialization in mechatronics
The University of Agder offers a PhD programme in mechatronics in Grimstad.
PhD programme in technology
The university board approved in 2011 a new PhD programme in technology at the faculty with four specializations (ICT, mechatronics, renewable energy and applied mathematics). The PhD programmes in ICT and mechatronics are replaced by the specialisations in ICT and mechatronics.
