Username and password

New users will receive a username and password before the opening of the semester. Students who are admitted to University of Agder only shortly before the opening of the semester will receive a username and password upon registration.

The username and password is for logging on to:

• Fronter
• Email
• The computers on computer labs
• Wireless network at UiA (username must include @uia.no)

The user account is personal!

You must never give away your password. Change your password right away if you suspect someone knows it. You will be held responsible if someone is misusing your account.

The password should be changed frequently, at least once a year. A reminder about expire date of your password will be sent to your UiA email address.
