Curriculum Vitae
Akmal Fayziyev received his the Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications with honours from Tashkent University, Uzbekistan in 2005. In August 2007, he received the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering from Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, South Korea. Following, he worked as a core network department engineer at UCell, a cellular GMS/3G operator in Uzbekistan.
Since July 2009, he has been working on his PhD thesis under the supervision of Professor Matthias Pätzold at the University of Agder.
His current research interests include MIMO systems and channel modelling for M2M.
