Transport Information

From the airport to city centre/Hotel Norge

The closest airport is Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik. From Kjevik you can you can take the airport buss to Kristiansand which takes approximately 25 minutes. Bus fare from the airport to Kristiansand, 80 NOK.

Taxi

If you prefer taxi you can find them outside the terminal building at the airport or call Agder Taxi tel +47 38 00 20 00. Taxi fare from the airport to the city centre is about 300 NOK.

From Hotel Norge to the conference location

The conference organises free bus transport to the University Campus and back to Hotel Norge every day. See timetable below:

Departure Hotel Norge:

Monday 23 November: 8:15

Monday 23 November: 8:30

Tuesday 24 November 8:00

Departure University Campus:

Monday 23 November: 18:45 (to Hotel Norge)

Monday 23 November: 19:45 (to Festningen/Conference dinner location)

Alternatively, the conference participants may use public transportation or take a taxi.

For public transportation Line 22 Kvadraturen- Gimlekollen-Jærnesheia/Ålefjær takes you to the University Campus (Bus stop: Spicheren). For more information on bus departures click HERE.

From the University Campus to the airport

Airport bus

The airport bus departs from Spicheren UIA at and takes about 20 minutes (the Spicheren UIA bus stop is about 2 minutes walk from the University Campus).
