From the spring semester 2009, UiA will implement a new printing system. Because of this, a new student id card is required.
You will be able to use any printer with an id scanner.
The card readers are mounted on the printers. You identify by holding the card in front of the reader on the printer. You will then be able to print from your prepaid account. All student id`s from August or newer will work with the new system.
On some multifunction printers, students will be able to print\copy or scan documents to their email account.
Any left over money you may have on your account from the old system will be transferred to the new system. You will be able to return prepaid cards for copying.
Print account
To refill your print account, go to:
http://followme.uia.no
Log in with your UiA username@uia.no and password.
If you want change the language to English, click "Oppsett" and then "Språk".
Click "e-pay" and check that your e-mail address is correct. Fill in the
amount you want to add to your account, and click "Accept". You will then automatically be redirected to the NetAxept electronic payment service where you must submit your credit card information.
When the transaction is complete, you will get an on-screen receipt that shows you the amount of money that has been transferred to your print account.
