Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences is responsible for study programmes, research and dissemination in the fields of business administration, economics, organizational theory, law, political science, social work, development studies and information systems.

The Faculty has nearly 2700 students and nearly 175 employees. There are six departments at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. One of the departments is located in Grimstad. The remaining units and the majority of faculty and staff members are located in Kristiansand.

The picture shows the Faculty's building at campus Gimlemoen in Kristiansand. The building is named after Eilert Sundt (1817-1875) who was a ground-breaking researcher in Norwegian social science.
